When the tears of a poet
Hit the old blank page,
The air at once filled
with a musty scent.
The nib hover at the page
pausing for a minute
before making its ink
sprend across the page
Feel the pain of a young girl,
a slave to a burning love
whose heart is yearning
for a love that never come.
Read the crimson ink message
written in grace and style
Hidden beneath it
is a forbidden story
that never can be told.
Follow her thought
through the pages
of bitter tears
As she searches for a love
that seem so faraway
Hear her cries
As she wrote a tale
About the lover
that she would
never have...
