It's an awesome book...packed with powerful emotion about the students day to day struggle in a world whose people used colours to judge human characters...
And this is not just another fiction book, it is actually written by real people with real experience...
They use writing to pour out their deepest feeling on what it's mean to survive in this world filled with hatred, prejudice and labels...
And it's simply amazing that a class of "unteachable, at-risk" students are willing to listen to their English teacher, Erin Gruwell to write their journals...
Erin Gruwell is simply an amazing teacher...she is just a newbie teacher but she done so much for the students...
