Chicken a la Carte
This film is about the hunger and poverty brought about by Globalization.
There are 10,000 people dying everyday due to hunger and malnutrition.
This short film shows a forgotten portion of the society.
The people who lives on the refuse of men to survive.
What is inspiring is the hope and spirituality that never left this people.

This is the film, which my Trainee from Service-Learning OSG had just shown me today...
Even though it is 6 mins, but it powerful enough to evoke a kind of saddness deep within me..
I see thoes kids smiling so happily while pushing the truck of thoes left overs and trying to fought for each others for it....
In Singapore, thoes kids fought for new toys, candies or sweets....and will confirm stray far away from the dustbin...
But for them, it is a delicacy...
The smiles on their face is of pure happiness...maybe ignorance is bliss...
The last scene is so heart-wrenching for me...
They looked so excited by the left-overs...
The little boy is so happy like he had just gotten something precious...
For me, that kind of look is only when i get a new gadget, new books or new clothes...
But for him, it's left-over....
Help to fight against poverty...
How I wish thoes kids are running to sweets or chocolates...not refuse of ours....
"Through I close my eyes, the images remain...and their story begins again..."
